Short Stories

Posted by vrleavitt  Published in Coffee and a Keyboard

Here are some short stories I’ve written:

Dandelions (fantasy)- A mother and daughter find freedom among the dandelions.

The Listener (slice of life)- What do you do when strangers feel the need to tell you their life stories?

Full Circle (slice of life) – Reflections on the last day of Kindergarten.

Lone Survivor (horror/suspense)- They’ve attacked, but there is one survivor.

Believe (speculative)- They’re out there, even if you don’t believe.

I Just Haven’t Met You Yet (quirky romance)- Eric knows Lisa’s the woman of his dreams, they just haven’t been properly introduced.

The City Beautiful (quirky horror) – A Disney Cast Member, Tikka Masala and aliens.

You Can Never Go Home Again (paranormal) – Something isn’t right in Eric’s life, but what?

If These Walls Could Talk (paranormal) – We’ve all heard the expression, but Lucy can actually hear their stories.
