It has a nice melodic bubbles kind of thing it does - enough to wake me up, but not enough to get stuck in my head or pin me to the ceiling. Often, though, my cat, MissyBrat decides to come in and allow me to pet her. If I happen to be asleep, she wakes me up, usually a bout 5 min before the alarm. That's usually about the time Dad and her MissyBrat's dogs go for a walk. Since I am still in bed, I have nothing better to do than pet her. <strong> <blockquote>Oh yes...the kitty factor. Our new girls are pretty good about not waking us up, BUT they do like to run around and play chase games at night, so they ARE responsible for us losing some sleep time.</blockquote> </strong> I wake up to my cell phone at 5:50 every morning. I, like you, used to have a buzzing alarm. It worked fine, but it always startled me and left me woozy and shaking with adrenaline. Before that, I had a clock radio and set it to classical music. I would have left it on classical, but every once in a while, a aria would rip out in a high C above C and leave me pinned to the roof. At least with the cello piece, all 30 seconds of it, I know what to expect!
