Monday Mug Shot

Hope everybody in the U.S. had a lovely Thanksgiving and for those living not in the U.S. I hope you just had a wonderful weekend!

Today’s mug seems pretty boring. There’s no cute picture, no clever witticisms or anything. Just your standard issue blue coffee mug. So, why is it here?

This is one of four mugs that my husband and I got for our wedding 12 years ago. It’s one of the few things we have from the very beginning of our marriage, which makes it pretty special.

So fill me in…how was your week last week? Any NaNo’ers out there finish? If not, no worries, neither did I, but I did get into a good writing rhythm, so it was worth it. Let me know what else is going on!

Hey V!

Had a nice quiet Thanksgiving at home with Vlad and Katie.

I have been blogging on the Watchdog blog just about every day or so. It is making a difference. While I was in MI for my MIL’s eye surgeries, I attended the Zoning Board of Appeals meeting where, much to everyone’s surprise, they overturned and revoked the Special Use on the Motocross property. No we have the upper hand, and he’s taking it to court. (That’s what we want) Now the Township’s dirty laundry will be aired in the courtroom and the guilty ones wuill be exposed.

I’m still blogging about it.

Hey Karen!! I’ve been wondering where you were! Polishing up my butt kicking boots too, since I didn’t see anything on your writing blog, but it sounds like you have your hands full. I’m glad to hear that your campaign is going well so far. I know it’s been quite a struggle. Keep up the good work!!

Welcome back. Hope you had a nice turkey day. We did. It was a bit slow around here, but Christmas will make up for that.

I won Picture Book Idea Month, so I am happy. Now I just have to write all of those books. :)

This is a pretty mug. I have several mugs that are sentimental. Nothing wrong with that.

I managed to get my hands on some stuffing, so I kind of celebrated Thanksgiving. :)

I managed to finish out NaNo with just over 61k, so I’m pleased as punch. I still have about 40k to go in the story and even then I don’t know if it’ll be useable, but I like it. :)

I love blue. I’ll have to take a picture of my mug (currently a pen holder).

Good for you for finishing NaNo!! That’s wonderful! And hey, it might not seem usable now, but after some editing and time, who knows. And yes! Please do take a picture of your mug, I’d love to see it. :-)
