Have you read “A Journal of the Plague Year”? It’s a fictionalized account of one man’s experiences during the 1665 plague in London, probably based on the actual journals of the author’s uncle. Lots of verisimilitude in this book!

Ah, research! The most enjoyable part of writing for me. Interesting facts about the plague. I never knew there were 3 kinds going on at the same time.
