Amen!

We are thieves, stealing from friends, family and strangers to acquire the stuff of our stories. Throw in a fertile imagination and you never know where it will take you. Of course a timely word from the muse (ahem! Wake up, I’m talking to YOU, Muse!) goes a long way too.

I also find inspiration in the Bible. I want to know some of these people better. They are not just names in a nice story – I wan to tknow who they really were and what were their hopes and dreams and desires and passions?

Nature never ceases to inspire me.

Vlad gives me so much to work with – he’s like playing with play-doh.

I always got good ideas from Writer’s Group too.

It all depends on what kind of writing I’m doing. The lunacy up in MI gives me plenty of blog fodder.

Writing pet peeves can be found everywhere – I feel a new one coming on soon.

We had a great ride yesterday on the motorcycle. there will be a new installment on that blog too. (After the gym, of course.)

I am most of the way through a poem inspired by this week’s Faithwriters prompt.

Inspiration is everywhere. You just have to look for it and see it with searching eyes or it will pass you by.

I keep little notebooks of inspirations. And then I cull through them for ideas when I’m stumped.

Busy, busy.

Busy indeed!! But it’s a good thing. Better busy than bored. :-) Glad you were able to have a ride yesterday too! That’s great!

A lot of my inspiration comes from the kids, but nature–especially the shore–is a big source of inspiration for me too.

Definitely love the shore too. Or any source of water really. Rivers, lakes, etc.

I get a lot of inspiration from just people watching. And also from other books – as well as from my very close friends. Oh yeah, and nature too. (Inspiration is everywhere, when you’re looking for it!)

It is everywhere, isn’t it? That’s one of the best parts of a creative life, is opening up and being receptive to what’s around you.
