Greetings everyone! Well, in case you hadn’t noticed yet, Coffee and a Keyboard has a new look. Scratch that – a FABULOUS new look – thanks to my very talented husband, Brian. I’m a difficult client, but he is the one who made the new look a reality.

The look isn’t the only thing that has changed though. I realize I’d dropped off the face of the earth there for a while. Anybody who really knows me knows that I do that sometimes. A lot of it had to do with the death of our cat, Creb. I know it sounds silly, but death in any form, in my opinion, should make people stop and think a bit about their own lives. Saying goodbye to somebody or something you love ends a chapter of your life. And as we all know, at the end of one chapter, lies the beginning of another.

I’ve been blogging for about two years now, mainly focusing on writing, and that’s been great, but as one chapter of my life closed, I realized it was time to branch out a little. I’m not JUST a writer after all. I have other interests too. So, while I’ll still be blogging plenty about writing and writers, I’ll be writing about other topics too. Other forms of art, nature and just life in general.
