Bringing Little Shepherd to the Online World by Cheryl C. Malandrinos

Posted by vrleavitt  Published in Contests, Editing, Publishing, Reading, Uncategorized, Writing

Thanks for inviting me back to Coffee and a Keyboard, Vanessa. I’m thrilled to be here. As some might recall from my first visit, I work as a virtual book tour coordinator for Pump Up Your Book. So, I knew when Little Shepherd became available, I would be coordinating a tour for it. I’m not [...]

Monday Mug Shot

Posted by vrleavitt  Published in Fun, Monday Mug Shot, NaNoWriMo, The Artist's Way

This is a new feature, I thought would be kind of fun, so we’ll see where it goes. Contrary to what you might be thinking, it’s not a collection of my various mug shots…believe me, you don’t want to see those. I figure since coffee plays an important part in my writing process, I’d share [...]

It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Posted by vrleavitt  Published in Fun, Monday Mug Shot, NaNoWriMo, Reading, Writing

Fall. I love it. Even though, this year, it’s totally different. Down here in the land of palm trees and beaches, there are no apple orchards or pumpkin patches. Somebody’s Watching Me

Posted by vrleavitt  Published in Creativity, Fun, Writing

We’ve all done it to some extent, and some are more serious about it than others. I’m talking about people watching. Just everyday out in the world people watching, not peeking through people’s windows kind of people watching. I find myself doing it fairly often when I’m out and about. Usually a snippet of conversation [...]

My Altar to the Muse

Posted by vrleavitt  Published in Creativity, Fun, Inspiration, Reading, Uncategorized, Writing

I was reading something the other day about work spaces and what makes a good work space etc. As writers, we can technically work anywhere. Yes, most of us have laptops or some electronic device to record our thoughts and words,  but in a pinch, there’s always the old napkin and pen routine. Hell, I’ve [...]

Oh. It’s you, Monday.

Posted by vrleavitt  Published in Contests, Creativity, Fun, The Artist's Way

Still going strong on the Artist’s Way. Yay! Finished chapter 1 and on to chapter 2. One thing that’s been pretty interesting this go ’round is learning new things in each chapter. Very exciting. Other than that, just wanted to bring some attention and some kudos to Cheryl Malandrinos, whose book, “Little Shepherd,” I’ll be [...]
